SUMMARY:AGC Edge: Field Logistics and Workflow Planning Workshop
DESCRIPTION:About the Course\n\nOn every construction project\, field performance depends on how well people\, materials\, equipment\, and work areas are organized. This workshop focuses specifically on jobsite logistics and workflow planning how to set up the site\, sequence work\, and improve crew and material movement to reduce delays and wasted effort.\n\n\n\nThe 4-hour Field Logistics and Workflow Planning Workshop is a tactical\, application-based session designed to help participants improve coordination at the project level. Rather than covering productivity as a broad management topic\, this workshop zeroes in on site layout\, material staging\, crew flow\, handoff points\, and simple field-planning practices that support smoother daily operations.\n\n\n\nThrough discussion\, real-world scenarios\, and small group activities\, participants will apply practical tools they can use right away to improve site coordination\, reduce workflow interruptions\, and support more efficient execution in the field. Each attendee will leave with ideas and next steps they can adapt to their own project environment.\n\n\n\nWorkshop Outcomes:\n\n	Identify jobsite logistics factors that affect workflow\, access\, and coordination\n	Map material movement\, staging\, and crew flow to reduce bottlenecks and delays\n	Recognize common field coordination issues that create wasted motion and rework\n	Use simple planning tools to improve daily execution and site organization\n	Develop practical next steps to strengthen logistics planning on active projects\n	Who should attend: This workshop is best suited for superintendents\, project managers\, forepersons\, field engineers\, and others responsible for coordinating jobsite setup\, material flow\, work sequencing\, and day-to-day field execution. It is especially useful for teams looking for practical ways to improve site organization and workflow.\n\n\n\nTechnology and Participation\n\nFor the classroom:\n\n Please have Zoom downloaded.\n\n Computer with dual monitor preferred.\n\n Laptop is good with a separate tablet to access the materials.\n\n\n\n*Participation in this workshop is for one person per registration.\n\n\n\n\n\nFor participation:\n\n Camera\, built in or added on and ready to stream to the classroom.\n\n Headphones or earbuds with microphones are preferred.\n\n Each student should be on their own computer/laptop/tablet.\n\n-This workshop does not require any particular software\n\n\n\n\n\nCancellation Policy:\n\nA full refund will be given to cancellations made 14 calendar days prior to the class kick-off. After such time\, no refunds will be given. Replacements are acceptable and must be submitted via email to meetings[@]agc.org.\n\n\n\nAGC reserves the right to cancel programs up to 10 days prior to the start date if a minimum number of attendees is not met.\n\n\n\nQuestions? Email us at education[@]agc.org\n\n\n\nMeet Your Facilitator:\n\n\n\nDaphene Koch | PhD \n\nOwner\, Build Your Know LLC \n\nDaphene is passionate about developing workforce in the construction industry by increasing individual expertise.
