Mike studied civil engineering at WPI and graduated in '98 BS Civil Engineering\, and '00 MS Construction Management. While at WPI\, Mike was an intern at Nitsch Engineering and Shawmut and then accepted a full time position with Shawmut in '00. Mike's project work with Shawmut includes a blend of renovations and new construction\, public and private\, in the education and life science markets. Mike opened Shawmut offices in New Haven\, West Springfield\, and Worcester.  Mike now serves as VP of Construction Operations in New England.\n\n \n\nMike is involved in various professional organizations including Policy Group on Tradeswomen Issues\, Girls in Trades\, and he is a board member with the Associated General Contractors MA and ACE Mentor Program Boston. Mike is a father of three daughters ages 15\, 13\, 11.
