SUMMARY:Casual Conversations with Kick Ass Women in Construction
DESCRIPTION:BWiC invites you to join the conversation\, to build connection\, advance an initiative\, maybe even solve a problem or two.  We are honored to welcome prominent women within the commercial construction industry to share the intentional and the serendipitous\, their hero's and the villain's\, the opportunities captured\, lost  and set free\, and what they spend far too much time doing\, with their time.  We promise\, it will be worth yours.\n\n\n\nAs an added bonus we will be admitting six fortunate registrants chosen randomly-- to attend in person (safely) at the AGC MA conference center. All other attendants will participate by Zoom.\n\n\n\nWe welcome this month's featured speaker Serena Bodner\, AIA\, Sr. Project Leader\, Alnylam Pharmaceuticals\n\nSerena is a licensed Architect and a LEED Accredited Professional with fifteen years of experience in the planning\, design\, construction\, and management of research labs\, clean rooms\, critical environment spaces\, vivariums\, and offices.\n\n\n\nShe specializes in leading lab projects with developing and new technologies\,  and collaborating with senior leadership to anticipate facility needs for emerging therapeutic programs. She is dedicated to providing and maintaining high quality facilities that allow science to evolve without constraint.\n\n\n\n\nSerena enjoys working in a complicated fast-paced environment\, is enthusiastic about working with people from all disciplines to share knowledge and strategize on best practices. She takes pride in providing excellent customer service to everyone she interacts with from researchers and operations team members to external vendors.
