This leads to higher rates of mental and behavioral health issues than other industries. \n\n\n\nAre you prepared to manage these issues in your workforce?  Consider the following facts:\n\n\n	In Massachusetts\, from 2016-2019 there were more suicides in construction than any other industry \n	Construction workers are almost twice as likely to have an alcohol use disorder than other workers\n	11.6% of construction workers reported illicit drug use within the past month\n	Construction are 1.5x more likely to have been diagnosed with a substance use disorder in the past year than other workers\n\n\n\n\nAbout the Course\nThis eight-hour\, interactive PFA training program equips you with the skills and knowledge to create a supportive\, trauma-resilient environment.\n\n\n\nTraining Objectives:\n\n1. Understand the principles and application of PFA.\n\n2. Identify and address the immediate needs and concerns of trauma-impacted individuals.\n\n3. Apply field-tested\, evidence informed strategies in various settings.\n\n4.
