DESCRIPTION:International Women's Day is a call to action to accelerate women's equality\, and is the biggest women-focused fundraising day of the year. SMPS Boston is celebrating with this essential items drive to support Rosie's Place guests who struggle to have the necessities they need throughout the day. \n\n\n\nRosie's Place was founded in 1974 as the first women-only shelter in the United States. What began as a safe place for poor and homeless women to get a bed and a meal in Boston has grown into a multi-service community center that that helps to 12\,000 women a year by offering emergency shelter and meals\, a food pantry\, ESOL classes\, legal assistance\, wellness care\, one-on-one support\, housing and job search services\, and community outreach.\nDonations\n\nPlease donate by purchasing items listed through this Amazon wish list\n\n\n\nThe Amazon wish list drive runs from February 14th to February 28th.
