Description
Scientist and public health advocate Dr. Arlene Blum, Founder and Executive Director, *Green Science Policy Institute, will review the six classes of harmful chemicals. Rather than addressing the tens of thousands of chemicals in the market one at a time, the chemical class approach educates manufacturers, retailers, and consumers about chemical families containing many of the hazardous substances commonly found in consumer products. With this information, better choices of chemicals to be used in products can be made, regrettable substitutions avoided, and human and ecological health protected.
