AGC MA Committee for Diversity and Inclusion (CFDI) Presents: 3rd Annual Diversity Summit during Construction Inclusion Week!

We are excited to announce the 3rd Annual Diversity Summit, hosted by the AGC MA Committee for Diversity and Inclusion (CFDI), as part of Construction Inclusion Week! Join us on October 17th from 2-6 PM at the Agganis Arena at Boston University for an empowering and enriching event.

Theme: "Hold the Door Open"

Building on the success of last year's Diversity Summit and our involvement in the Alliance for Building and Construction Diversity (ABCD) event at Northeastern University, we are proud to continue our commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion in the construction industry. This year, our theme is "Hold the Door Open" for underrepresented business entities.

What to Expect:

Diverse Business Participation: Known diverse business partners are being invited by AGC MA members to participate in this event. If you are a diverse business interested in attending this year's Diversity Summit, please complete the AGC MA Supplier Information Form and we will be happy to add you to registration. We look forward to welcoming you!

Sponsorship Support: Our Construction Inclusion Week Champion, Ally, and Supporter Sponsors are generously covering the cost of registration for diverse business entities. This initiative aims to facilitate meaningful connections between diverse businesses, AGC MA members, and resource providers dedicated to addressing significant barriers to entry and growth in our industry.

Screening of "Open Door" Video Series: We will debut the first installment of our multi-part "Open Door" video series. This series highlights the challenges faced by underrepresented business entities and sheds light on the available resources to support them.

Panel Discussion: A brief panel discussion will focus on the critical issues of Access and Financing within the construction industry. Our expert panelists will provide insights and strategies to address these challenges.

Networking Session: The event will conclude with a networking session featuring resource providers at dedicated tables. This session aims to address the most common barriers faced by diverse businesses in our industry, including Access, Financing, Certification, Bonding and Insurance, and Administration.
