AGC MA Holds 2026 Annual Membership Meeting & Announces New Leadership

AGC MA held its 2026 Annual Membership Meeting virtually on May 21, welcoming members from across the industry for an afternoon focused on leadership, association updates, and recognition of outstanding service to the construction community.

The meeting featured updates from AGC MA Committee Chairs, highlighting the important work taking place across the Association and the many initiatives supporting the future of the commercial construction industry in Massachusetts. Members also heard updates on key accomplishments, advocacy efforts, workforce development initiatives, and ongoing member engagement activities.

A major highlight of the meeting was the official election and approval of AGC MA’s new Board Officers and Directors, marking an important transition in leadership for the Association.

2026 Elected Officers

  • Chair: Brad Forrest — Walsh Brothers, Inc.
  • Vice-Chair: Mike Kearns — Shawmut Design and Construction
  • Secretary/Treasurer: Steve Avery — Dimeo Construction Company

Elected Directors (Term Expires 2029)

  • Chris Floyd — C.E. Floyd Company Inc.
  • Jess Baccari — Siena Construction Company
  • Craig Skurka — Gilbane Building Company

The Association thanked outgoing leadership and welcomed the newly elected officers and directors who will help guide AGC MA’s mission and strategic priorities in the years ahead.

Another special moment during the meeting was the announcement that Bill Aalerud of Columbia Construction will receive AGC MA’s prestigious S.I.R. Award at the AGC Summer Social The S.I.R. Award recognizes individuals who exemplify Skill, Integrity, and Responsibility throughout their careers and service to the industry.

Bill was recognized for his unwavering commitment to AGC MA, his exceptional leadership within the construction community, and the tremendous impact he has made on the industry throughout his career. His dedication to advancing the profession and supporting the Association has made him a highly respected leader among his peers.
