Farewell to Chris Ziegler, AGC MA Director of Safety Services

After 26 years of dedicated service, Chris Ziegler, AGC MA’s Director of Safety Services, will be leaving the Association to pursue new professional opportunities.

 

During his time with AGC MA, Chris has been a trusted resource and passionate advocate for safety across the construction industry.

Under his leadership, AGC MA:

  • Trained more than 7,500 workers through OSHA 10-Hour and 30-Hour Training programs, helping to ensure safer job sites statewide.
  • Conducted hundreds of site inspections and onsite trainings for thousands of field workers. 
  • Launched and led the AGC MA Opioid Stand Down, raising awareness and providing critical education around substance use and prevention in the industry.
  • Coordinated statewide COVID-19 protocols, playing a pivotal role in keeping projects operational and workers safe during an unprecedented public health crisis.
  • Helped establish the CARE Construction Safety Program, which has strengthened our members’ ability to create and sustain robust safety cultures within their organizations.

 

Reflecting on Chris’s impact, AGC MA CEO John Ferrante shared:

For over two decades he has been a reliable staff member who supported our members, and we wish him all the best in his next endeavor."
